Dr. Nuelle is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician who treats a variety of sports and athletic-related injuries, and disorders of the shoulder, knee, ankle and elbow as an Associate Professor at the University of Missouri. Dr. Nuelle gained advanced clinical training in articular cartilage restoration and joint preservation, and is currently the Medical Director of the Mizzou Joint Preservation Center. Dr. Nuelle is active in research and has published many peer-reviewed articles and authored numerous textbook chapters. He is an active member and serves in editorial and/or board positions for the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the Arthroscopy Journal. Finally, Dr. Nuelle serves as the Associate Head Team Physician for Mizzou athletics and was previously a team physician for the San Antonio Missions baseball team in Texas.
